Each potential adoptive family goes through an application process which includes home visits,  signing an adoption contract, and making a monetary donation to the Stray Pet Fund at the vet clinic.  At this point Pleasant Drive Animal Rescue does not have a bank account, as all our rescues are taken care of for varying lengths of time at St. Francis.  Your generous donations are used to help cover at least a portion of the  animal's vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, heartworm preventative or treatment, and boarding costs.  Thank you for your support!

Pleasant Drive Animal Rescue  does post-adoption home visits, and follows up on all rescues via e-mails and/or phone calls.
